At Last! The surgeon says he'll do a temporary colostomy and then reattach it when the first surgery is healed. He's pretty certain the cancer hasn't spread, but took bloods and did a CT scan today to make sure.
Thank god for medical aid.

So the colonoscopy under anaesthetic is done. He has cancer. They have to take out 20cm of colon, and there's a 40% chance he'll need a colostomy.
That's the bad news.
The good news is they're pretty sure it hasn't spread. He won't need chemo unless they find some in the... |
